Dimitra Galiti DDS, MSc

Dr. Dimitra Galiti graduated from the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry
2008-2010: she attended the graduate program of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut, Farmington, USA. She received advanced training in oral medicine in both healthy and medically compromised patients, including patients with cancer. In addition, she treated acute dental problems during emergency on-call rotations at the John Dempsey Hospital, while providing a broad range of urgent dental treatment to a diverse patient population. She also managed patients under general anesthesia.
Master of Science with «magna cum laude» on Forensic Odontology, with special education in imaging radiology of head and neck
2010-2011: she attended the postgraduate program at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Leuven, Belgium and received the Master of Science.
PhD Graduate Program in the Clinic of Oral diagnosis and Radiology, School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
2016-present: Dr. Galiti evaluates the radiological characteristics of the jaws in patients with osteoporosis and cancer, who received antiresorptives and developed osteonecrosis of the jaw.
